All areas of work were Cat scanned prior to commencement. A hole was excavated in the ground to the front elevation of the building to establish location and size of existing services.
.

Due to adverse ground conditions and the excavation depth, the ground was supported / stabilized to prevent any material falling back into the excavation.
This was done by propping the earth back by driving steel sheet piles into the ground which was strengthened at the top with supports to one of the sides thus allowing a safe working platform.

Shutters / starter bars were set up to reinforce the concrete base.
The side wall shutters were formed and reinforced, and then concrete was poured to form the cellar walls.
